We were asked to work on a multi-million pound film, for the British Royal Navy. The film is used as part of an insight to navy life at the new navy centre at Portsmouth. The story is based around a Royal Navy frigate out on patrol around the tropics, with them jumping in to action when a ship is taken over by modern day pirates.
Our Offering was to illustrate and animate screen sequences to add to the authenticity of the film. For security reasons real live screens could not be used, so we mocked them up to look real, we succeeded. We worked closely with the film crew, the BBC art department and the director.
The total budget for the 30 minute cinematography film was £3,000,000. We only spent a fraction.
